SCAM ALERT:

If you have received an e-mail purporting to be from Fitzgerald Communications and offering to purchase on-line ad space on behalf of major clients (NetFlix, etc.), be advised that this is a scam. To date, we have determined that these e-mails are originating in Russia, with a possible link to China as well. It is likely that the hackers have two objectives: to defraud consumers and/or to propagate ads that link to a virus-installing site (malware).

The FBI, the Secret Service and the FTC have been notified of this scam. As someone targeted by this fraud, you are encouraged to file your own report by contacting the Secret Service (http://www.secretservice.gov/field_offices.shtml) and the FTC (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/).
